McGuire serves with Kings Crossing

CORPUS CHRISTI — On April 1, Delton McGuire became the first fulltime fundraiser for the prison ministry operating under the eldership of the Kings Crossing Church of Christ.
Said McGuire, “Prison ministry allows me to continue helping those that need help the most. I hope that congregations and individuals will want to know more about this vital ministry and how to be involved in person or help fund this effort.”
McGuire and his wife, Valerie, have worked in Christian education, childcare and fundraising since 1991. He comes from serving 14 years as fundraiser, executive director, and then again as fundraiser at the Cherokee Home for Children.
The Lufkin native holds a graduate degree in communication from Stephen F. Austin State University. He specialized in fundraising and media effects.
He is also a journalism graduate of Oklahoma Christian University and a certified fund raising executive with multiple credentials in social media and financing religious efforts. He also serves on the board of directors for the Planned Giving Council of San Antonio.
The McGuires have three grown children, all of whom have worked in various ministries, and four grandchildren.
To volunteer or donate, email McGuire at or call him at 325-205-2572.
