SAN ANTONIO –Victoria Payne and Toni Tillman will be facilitating a Single and Parenting class on Wednesday nights at the Northwest church of Christ. While the seminar began on Sept. 18, Coordinator and Elder Chuck Morris says that all are welcome to start attending at any time during the seminar. The classes run through Dec. 18.
Said Morris, “All single parents, both women and men, are welcome, as are grandparents who are raising grandkids or lending the occasional hand. The companion book will be available when they first attend. Few things are as challenging as raising kids on your own. We hope to provide community and information to help.”
Childcare and classes for pupils of all ages are provided. Supper is served in the fellowship hall from 5:30 to 6:30 each Wednesday, followed by the video lesson and discussion from 6:30 – 8 p.m. The cost for the meal is covered by the church.
